Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Norwegian Prime Minister will co-chair the round table conference. The conference is hosted by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman. 197 member countries are participating in the world conference in Egypt. For the first time, the matter of giving compensation to poor countries affected by the effects of climate change has been included in the agenda. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt yesterday to participate in the COP 27 conference. On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s two-day visit, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and a delegation of cabinet members are also accompanying the Prime Minister.
