Additional celebrities have stepped forward to express their criticism of individuals who remain silent in the face of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Israel's relentless air strikes against Palestinians have left Pakistani celebrities deeply concerned. The unexpected and historic attack by Hamas on Israel, resulting in escalated hostilities from both sides and claiming the lives of at least 1,900 Palestinians, has stirred public figures who are now calling out those who remain silent or neutral, labeling them as hypocrites.

Renowned Pakistani-British boxing champion, Amir Khan, took to the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice his strong opinions. He shared a lengthy post, condemning people for their "shameful" silence, and presented the heartbreaking statistics of casualties: "Nearly 2,000 Palestinians murdered in a few days, including over 500 children and more than 300 women."

Khan criticized the impact of vague statements like "Your pray for everyone" as having the same effect as "all lives matter," suggesting that such prayers only encompass those individuals some consider fully human. He stressed that offering lukewarm and neutral statements is insufficient.

He called for a distinction between the colonizer and the colonized, emphasizing the inherent political nature of every death. Khan urged people not to misrepresent the deceased with their fears or desires for brand alignment.

He directly addressed those who use Arab and Muslim terminology for personal decoration or career enhancement, labeling their silence as shameful and a form of terrorism, especially when it truly matters. Khan questioned why so many influential figures, role models, and big names have either gone silent or deleted their posts, asking if they fear losing friends or financial gain.

In a separate post, Khan revealed that his Foundation is collaborating with a local team to provide food, aid, and shelters to those affected in Palestine.

The boxing champion also emphasized his commitment to "bring about a positive change in the world."

Throughout his career, Khan's primary goal has been to attain championship status and utilize his fame and influence to effect positive transformations in the world. He underlined that he has never shied away from speaking his mind and standing up for the marginalized.

Amir went on to recount his support for victims of the Ukrainian war, sharing that he personally traveled to Poland to aid Ukrainian refugees who had been displaced due to the impact of the conflict. He noted that many individuals raised their voices against these atrocities.

However, as the world witnesses the unfolding events in Palestine, Amir expressed his disappointment in observing many of his peers, friends, and colleagues choosing to remain silent. He then questioned why this was the case, suggesting that fear has played a role in suppressing support for Palestine.

Amir firmly stated, "Palestinian lives matter," and stressed that history will remember those who spoke out and those who did not. He invoked a Quranic verse, "if anyone kills a person, it would be as if he killed the whole of humanity; and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the whole of humanity" (Quran 5:32).

The boxer concluded his message with translated Quranic verses as a reminder of humanity's importance, particularly for his Muslim followers.

Simultaneously, Pakistani singer Hasan Raheem also brought attention to the dehumanizing treatment endured by Palestinian victims.

He emphasized the paradox in which Palestinians are expected to ensure the well-being and safety of their oppressors (Israel), even as they face daily killings, imprisonment, and brutal repression, underscoring the profound dehumanization they experience. The singer of "Faltu Pyar" pointed out the hypocrisy in this situation.

In another tweet, Hasan stated, "If you lack the slightest shred of humanity, your religious affiliation becomes irrelevant."

Osman Khalid Butt, renowned for his candid opinions and willingness to speak bluntly, shared poignant images of the devastation caused by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) in Palestine. He also brought attention to the utilization of phosphorous weapons in Palestinian civilian areas.

He strongly condemned the use of phosphorous weapons in civilian regions, labeling it as a war crime. Butt expressed his concern about the lack of urgency in shedding light on the atrocities committed by Israel, and he questioned the decisions made by some countries to prohibit pro-Palestinian protests.

He posed a thought-provoking question, "How deep are those Zionist pockets?"

Actress Armeena Khan turned to Instagram to post images from her involvement in a peaceful protest held in Canada.
