“BTS, BLACKPINK Receive Multiple Nominations at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards: The K-Pop Powerhouses are Contenders for Top Awards”

BTS and BLACKPINK, two K-pop megabands, have each received multiple nominations for the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2023.

The full list of contestants for this year’s Music Awards was revealed on January 11.

In four distinct categories, including Best Duo/Group of the Year, Best Music Video, Favorite Use of a Sample, and Best Fan Army, the girl group BLACKPINK got nominations.

In the same two categories as BLACKPINK, including Best Fan Army and Favorite Use of a Sample, Bangtan Boys received nominations.

In the Best Music category, Jungkook received a solo nomination for his Left and Right duet song with Charlie Puth.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Parmalee, OneRepublic, Mneskin, Imagine Dragons, Glass Animals, Silk Sonic, and Anderson will compete against BLACKPINK’s Blinks and BTS’s Army. Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, Anderson.Paak, and AJR for “Best Group of the Year.”

The social voting period runs from January 11, 2023, to March 20, 2023, and the iHeartRadio Music Awards will take place on March 27, 2023.

For Best Duo/Group of the Year, the South Korean group will compete against global stars that include AJR, Black Eyed Peas, a duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic, Glass Animals, Imagine Dragons, Maneskin, OneRepublic, Parmalee and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
