"I want to show the beautiful side of Pakistan, away from all the negativity and hate seen in some media outlets," stated Erica Robin. "I have repeatedly confirmed my choice to wear a burkini, reflecting my deep respect for our culture and my personal preference."

Erica Robin, a 24-year-old professional model from Karachi, recently won the title and will be Pakistan's first representative at the Miss Universe competition. She views this platform as an opportunity to highlight women's achievements in various fields and promote positive change in the world.

Addressing concerns about staying in Pakistan, Erica Robin emphasized her love for her home country and her commitment to sharing the message of positivity and celebrating Pakistan's virtues.

She expressed her pride in representing Pakistan and addressed misconceptions about her participation in the competition, emphasizing that she is not violating any laws and aims to challenge stereotypes.

The upcoming Miss Universe pageant, taking place in El Salvador in November, will feature contestants from over 80 countries, with the winner being crowned on November 18.
