Taylen made a grand entrance at the recent Balmain show, one of the most coveted invitations during Paris Fashion Week. She donned an exquisite white jacket-and-skirt ensemble from the renowned French label, paired with black boots and a bag by Karl Lagerfeld, complemented by her beloved Vintage Frames sunglasses. As usual, her cameraman trailed behind, capturing her every move. Maintaining a discreet distance was her "bodyguard," a role her father fulfilled seamlessly.

"I have a deep passion for fashion, and I relish the opportunity to meet and interview new people, discovering their perspectives," she shared with AFP, just before taking out her microphone to get to work. Taylen, who resides in Miami, has conducted interviews with notable figures such as DJ Khaled, popstar Kali Uchis, American Football star Patrick Mahomes, as well as numerous models, designers, and fellow fashion enthusiasts.
She has practically become a seasoned presence on red carpets, gracing events ranging from the MTV Music Awards to the Superbowl. She's a regular fixture at New York and Miami fashion weeks and has been spotted all over Milan and Paris over the past two weeks. Reflecting on her experiences, she mentioned, "I genuinely miss my family and Miami a lot. But I must admit, I've developed quite a fondness for the cuisine here."

Influencers have emerged as the fashion industry's preferred medium, serving as a direct conduit to the public and being open to exchanges of products for exposure - with age proving to be no barrier.
Josh Biggs, Taylen's father, has largely set aside his role as a construction contractor in Miami to serve as his daughter's full-time assistant. "I accompany her everywhere she goes; I am always by her side," he disclosed to AFP. When asked if his daughter has become a business, he replied, "People may see her through the lens of a camera... but in reality, she's first and foremost a child."
'No reservations'
Taylen's journey into modeling began at the age of 18 months when her fashion-loving mother, a Colombian immigrant who arrived in the United States at the age of 13, posted pictures of her on social media, which were noticed by an advertising agency.

She currently manages her daughter's social media profiles and oversees the homeschooling of Taylen as well as her brother and sister. "Education holds the utmost importance for us; it's our top priority," her father emphasized. They put in extra effort over the summer to ensure that Taylen could enjoy an extended break during the consecutive fashion weeks in Milan and Paris in September.
Taylen's father, who admits to having little interest in the fashion industry, emphasizes that there is absolutely no pressure on his daughter to continue if she ever becomes disinterested. "If she decides to make a change and pursue a different career, that's entirely her choice," he stated. "We would step away from the fashion world without any reservations. There's no doubt about it."

However, Taylen appears to relish her role. "I can get along with just about anyone," she remarked. "I'm particularly good with kids; I absolutely adore them! And I genuinely enjoy interacting with adults - they don't even get on my nerves."
