"Observe the challenges faced by men: Khalilur Rehman Qamar criticizes Miss Pakistan for addressing issues of inequality."

The playwright made an appearance as a guest on a talk show, where Miss Pakistan Global 2022, Sana Hayat, joined the discussion. During the show, Hayat shared her perspective on the significant challenges that women encounter while striving for success in the professional arena. She emphasized the complexities arising from societal and familial pressures, asserting that achieving a career amidst these challenges is particularly arduous for Pakistani women due to the numerous hurdles they must overcome, including limited opportunities based solely on talent.

Qamar displayed a dismissive attitude toward the experiences shared by the pageant winner, retorting, "Iss ko ayi hongi (she must've had bad experiences)." When the pageant winner attempted to defend her viewpoint, Qamar promptly interjected with, "Do not interrupt me," and proceeded to argue that poor discussions stem from speaking solely from personal experiences and lacking a broad understanding of the subject matter. He seemed to believe that the woman discussing women's issues lacked knowledge on the topic.

Qamar continued by bringing up the challenges faced by men in the private sector, suggesting that if a woman seeks employment based on merit, she can obtain it. However, he pointed out that when alternative means are used to secure employment, men lose their job opportunities. He concluded by advising against requesting a 33% quota and accused women of not considering equality in such moments.

The playwright has a history of expressing misogynistic views and has previously engaged in verbal disputes, including an incident where he verbally abused a journalist defending the rallying slogan 'Mera Jism Meri Marzi' and criticizing actor Mahira Khan.
