Sarah Majeed, the writer of "Fairytale," is nearing completion of the storyline for Season 2.

The young writer shared this update in response to a question from one of her fans on the social media app. When a fan asked, "Have you finished writing #Fairytale2?" and tagged Sarah, she replied succinctly with two words: "Almost done."

"Fairytale" originally debuted on television during the last Ramadan, becoming a standout addition to the typical lighthearted content that accompanies the holy month's festivities. However, this time, viewers took greater notice as "Fairytale" emerged as a unique entry in the extensive list of Ramadan romantic-comedy dramas.

The drama's main characters, Farjad and Umeed, portrayed by Hamza Sohail and Sehar Khan, swiftly captured the hearts of viewers throughout Pakistan with their relatable personalities and heartwarming journey towards love. "Fairytale" garnered praise for steering clear of harmful stereotypes and regressive tropes that often define Pakistani television, solidifying its place in the hearts and minds of audiences eagerly awaiting fresh and progressive narratives on screen.

Following its initial success, including high television ratings and a shower of love on social media, "Fairytale" was promptly renewed for a second season. "Fairytale 2" began airing recently, with the first episode premiering in early August. Currently, the second season has already reached seven episodes and is receiving acclaim for its well-developed characters and engaging storyline.
